THE FAT MAN PHOTO HAS BEEN SCORED and the tension builds...

Well, well, well.  This is certainly Lentertaining.  And obviously, it ain't over until the fat man has made  it up the greased pole, grabbed the flag, or eaten the frosting/butter.  (Admit it.  Yum, frosting was the best caption ever). We have a real tight contest going.  Judy, John and Rob (aka-the bromantics) are in a tight battle for number one, but Jessica and Linda are not far behind.  And don't count out Joann-who sat this photo out (no judging here) but still sits at 238 big points, and don't underestimate either of the Sues (I love the consistent work of Sue E. and am always impressed by her dedication--look for some extra credit to be coming her way real soon ), Ginny and Michelle.  They are new to the contests, but are gaining experience daily. Tricia and Stacy are always worthy competitors and can bust this thing WIDE open at any time.  The judges like them, know them and appreciate the quality they bring to the blog.  Finally, the youth movement could really make some noise here if they were able to actually sustain some momentum. They are clever, witty, quick with the funny votes, but can't seem to string two good days together.  AND, of course, with the always random Extra Credit, anything is possible.  Just ask Mr. Del Fava who got 100 bonus points today, because he deserves it.

So, breaking down the numbers: Judy killed it in the voting. Honest to Sr. Jovita, it's so crazy impressive that I can only stand back and marvel. She got 10 extra credit points because she and Karla are going to singlehandedly get the blog hits into 6 figures.  Karla, you may well be a robot, but that's fine with me. You vote like a champion, so I am grateful.  Judy of course got the 20 voting points, but then John, Linda, Rob and Jessica each got 10 voting points because they all had a bunch of votes and I was impressed by the comments, the camaraderie and the generosity of spirit in the voting process.   (also, I was super tired of counting the votes and having to keep downloading more comments, so I rounded up for all.  You're welcome) Finally, extra credit was dished out as follows:
Judy got  10 for her extraordinary vote getting ability. John got 20 big extra credit points for using the blog to publicize Andrew's Angelman walk (if you haven't donated, do it right now at  http://secure.angelman.org/team/Andrew2014 ), Rob got 30 even bigger points for offering to donate money in exchange for each vote he got,  Linda got 30 large extra credit points for donating her votes to Rob, so he would make his donation goal, and Jessica got 10 extra credit points because she makes me laugh.  And so do her voters.  And as previously mentioned, Mr. DelFava got 100 points.
